A new website for a public secondary school with more than 90 years of history, replacing its old WordPress site: admissions, school life, contact and quick access to its virtual services.

- A theme and plugins that had to be kept patched to stay safe

- A fast React site compiled to static files
- Admission process and documents in one place
- Old URLs redirect to the new pages
What I built
Admissions in one place
Steps, required documents and a contact channel that goes straight to the admissions office.
Quick access to services
Direct links to the virtual classroom and the online document desk from every page, plus a WhatsApp button.
No CMS, no database
Content lives in versioned data files and the contact form needs no server, so there is nothing to patch or secure on the back end.
Accessible by default
Animations switch off for visitors who prefer reduced motion, and the layout is designed for phones first.
